All About Me!
I was born and raised in Walterboro, SC. I have 1 older sister and 1 younger brother. My mom was a Operating Room nurse until she passed in 2010. My dad worked in Charleston on a Government Facility and still lives in Walterboro.
After graduating high school, I moved to Rock Hill, SC to attend Winthrop University. I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Winthrop University in 1993. In addition, I received a Master’s in Administration and Supervision from University of Phoenix in 2009. I have taught Kindergarten through 4th Grade. This is my 12th year working at Steele Creek Elementary and my 23rd year of teaching.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family. My husband, Chris, is a captain for the Charlotte Fire Department. I have 3 children, who I adore so much. Their names are Katelyn, Christopher, and Connor. I adore my family! In addition to spending time with my family, I love to read mysteries and watch any type of NCIS series on TV.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and your families this upcoming school year!
